Big brother Cristian snuck in for a couple of shots and these turned into some of my all-time favorites. Love them.

Newborn Session - Sneak Peak

I did a newborn session this past weekend with my niece. The hardest session I've done to date. Poor baby was not feeling too well and actually was admitted into the hospital after the photo shoot for an infection. She's was released yesterday and is now on the mend!

Sofie is a little over three weeks and just perfect.

How often do you get a chance to photograph a human being coming into the world, taking their first breaths? It is magical. Even more so because this was my niece. The pictures speak for themselves, but through all the rush of birth there is something so calming about it. It was as if everything stopped still in that moment...
