Mini Session - Sofia is turning ONE

Quick mini session was on the agenda for my niece, Sofia. She is the sweet baby with long eyelashes, bright smiles and a very loud voice. :) Reminds me of her Mama but stubborn like her Grandma.

Being an Auntie is the best of both worlds. You can "mother" them, spoil them rotten, give them Diet Coke behind their mom's back and cuddle them but the minute they get cranky, off to mom they go.

I photographed her birth...

(That's me in the center photo, holding her minutes after she was born... hair uncombed, sleepy eyes but a proud Aunt!)

Now, that sweet baby is walking and running, trying to talk and getting into mischief. Photographing her laughing, running and drooling makes this heart smile.

Bumble Blog - Starting Fresh

I am a regular blogger, personally and used to blog regularly with Bumble, but after getting a new logo and website, I had to put the blog on the back burner and take one thing at a time.

I decided to get a temporary blog up so I can share all the good things happening for Bumble.

On here you'll see more photos from sessions and details and what I thought about each individual session... I may even add in some funny bloopers that you won't see on the website or Facebook page.

I'll leave you with a photo, because what's a photography blog without a photo? I recently made a purchase for the wee Bumble clients and I'm anxious to use this quirky tool this weekend. via Happy Acres.

Daniel - Three Year Old Session

Little Daniel turned three and I was more than happy to photograph this rambunctious boy. We played ball, ate candy and blew bubbles... and picked up sticks. I think he was planning on building a fort after the session with all the sticks he gathered. haha

Sofia & Cristian - Newborn/Children Session

Sweet Sofia.

I showed shots from Sofia's birth a few weeks back and here she is all cleaned up for the camera.

Wide-eyed innocent newborn girl who has stolen my heart.

Big brother Cristian snuck in for a couple of shots and these turned into some of my all-time favorites. Love them.

Richie, Veronica & Leilani G.

This was a session from last year that I never got up on the site...

Richie married Veronica and then Leilani came along - Incredible people that I call good friends!

To this day, I consider some of these shots among my top ten favorites. Just look at this sweet baby girls face and you'll know why.

Stacey and Brittyn B

I was visiting with my cousin Stacey and her baby girl, Brittyn one day and offered to do a session with them. I couldn't get past those big brown eyes. Isn't Brittyn a beauty?

This session was special to me not only because Stacey is family but looking in Brittyn's face I see so much of two loved ones that are no longer here. My grandpa and Stacey's mom.

This was a quick session but so many good shots!
